Live Blogging of the JACK BAUER POWER HOUR: Hour 16?

Hey Party People. That's right. You're a proper noun. I'm here blogging from a hotel that my mom is staying at. To demonstrate out differences I'll state that she's in the other room watching 7th Heaven and I'm watching the flashback ep. of Prison Break.

02. Where's Jack? Where's Jack? Tick tock. Chloe's distracted by Jack being missing. Laura Palmer's dad is in this episode.

03. And there he is! Wow, didn't even get through the credits and he's back. I despise that whole idea of "Ooo, he's going to die. Ooo."

04. Nerve gas was eradicated by the explosion. Episode NOT written by David Fury. Henderson is being made a priority of the investigation. He's just a soldier. WHAT? Jack's scared? What?!? JACK! JACK IS SCARED!?!?

05. Laura Palmer's Dad! He wants CTU shut down and Homeland Security absorb it.

06. Asswipe is trying to get someone to side with them about shutting down CTU. That person is Audrey. THE WOMAN THEY JUST CONDONED THE TORTURE OF!!! WTF!

07. Ah, the men in black have told us how Principal Wood got a gun.

08. Principal Wood's trying to get to Palmer's source, Evelyn the aide. Aaron put Principal Wood IN THE TRUNK?

09. Evelyn is trying to get her ass out of there. Of course. Because NOW she's involved in the plot. She wasn't too nervous before. And this was fast but Principal Wood and Evelyn are going to have a little chat aided by Aaron. Wow, for looking like ground beef a few minutes ago, Wood looks pretty damn good.

10. Evelyn is a bad liar. Wood is PISSED! Go and kick some ass Wood! KICK SOME ASS! "Tell me what I need!" That came from Wood, not Jack. Okay.

11. Evelyn's got a kid who was kidnapped by...somebody. She gets the kid back in return for information that proves who was involved in all of "this." Why an aide has all of this information? No reason. Just sounds good and makes for a good plot.

12. SOMEONE actually is SMART and DOESN'T TRUST WHAT THE TERRORISTS PROMISE! Evelyn will trade the "evidence" if Wood and Aaron get her daughter back.

16. Here comes the invaders. Homeland Security. Chloe? Not too happy. Backslash protocol? Are you telling what to type or... And Karen Hughes's explanation of what's going on was pretty ridiculous.

17. Wood and Jack talk. Wood catches Jack up on the Evelyn situation. Why is Wood whispering when he was just yelling at Evelyn? And now they're going to separate and meet up in the parking lot.

18. Sure that makes perfect sense. Perfect.

19. Asswipe weasels his way with Audrey about getting her to sign the paper against Bill. Now, since she won't sign, he's threatening her. WHAT THE FUCK! YOu just TORTURED HER TWENTY MINUTES AGO! And ALSO, Bill had nothing to do with the problems...it was all The Hobbit's fault. IT WAS HIS FUCKING KEY CARD! WTF! And I'll remind everyone about THE TORTURE THING!

21. Audrey and Jack talk. Catch each other up on either end. Evelyn. CTU getting absorbed. Now suspicion is put on the Vice President. About damn time. And maybe we should be asking where the hell the President is!

22. Audrey's going to SIGN THE STATEMENT (WTF) to cover her father's ass and to get Chloe to stay on. Basically so she can make her own mini-CTU at her desk.

23. Stupid bitch. She signed the paper.

24. Robocop. Sepia tone. Some kind of plant. People with guns. Crying little abducted girl.

27. Wow. Evelyn actually didn't run.

28. Wayne? LAURA PALMER'S DAD! EVIL! He's sad that David's dead but ISN'T BLINKING. NOT BLINKING MEANS EVIL.

30. Chloe's pissed that this is happening. Chloe pissed? Really? Happens so rarely. Asswipe tells Chloe and Bill about Audrey signing the sheet. Now she's standing up to it. Poker face test #134 or something. Whatever.

31. Oh, they didn't take her daughter until a little while ago. That explains why she wasn't as freaked earlier. She won't tell Wood anything until they get the daughter. Evelyn trusted Palmer and she holds herself responsible partially for it. Wood is STILL WHISPERING! They're in HIS CAR! Why with the whispering?

33. Henderson asks why Wood came to the retreat. Oh wow. Jack's face when the daughter was talking to Evelyn. Wow. Still rings of first season. Awesome.

34. Bill's not happy about this betrayal. Duh.

35. Wow, are we back in hour 6? Audrey and Chloe going into a back room (not one of the DEATH rooms) to work on something for Jack. Chloe is still not happy. Big surprise there.

39. Evelyn and Wood in a BARN. Why the fuck is Wood there if Henderson was so eager to make sure that she came alone.

40. Noises. We're scared. Oh, it's Jack.That would still be scary.

41. Evelyn won't tell Jack what she knows. THE GUY JUST CHOKED HIS EX-GIRLFRIEND to get info. Oh, Jack's just going to blow it off. Well, her daughter was kidnapped so...

42. Vice President....lurking lurking lurking. The President's been having a cocktail hour this past hour and a half.

45. More work with the magic PDA. "Draw your weapon." Draw your PDA.

49. Watching with my mom is more work than writing this blog. It's also slightly reduced my yelling of obscenities.

50. Finally a black man will kick some ass this season! Jack and Wood are infiltrating the .... location. They've got a display of where the bad guys are. Remember last season when Jack broke into the terrorist bunker where Audrey was...

51. Wow. Didn't think Wood was going to do it but he waited to shoot him face-to-face.

52. JACK JUST SLIT THE GUY'S THROAT! HE JUST SLIT THE GUY'S THROAT!

53. Jack fucked with the walkie-talkie (thanks commenters for telling me how to spell that!) so that his voice wouldn't sound like him. Yeah. Sure that'll work.

54. The trade is being made. Little girl to Evelyn. Call made to sniper. Henderson into Evelyn's car. And they're away.

56. Evelyn was shot. She's got the daughter. Jack wants the info. Is it the vice president? Nope.

57. And Joe from The 24 Podcast was right. Henderson talks to another guy. And that guy...revealed very nicely, is President Eunich. He actually sounded like he knew what he was saying and wasn't in a constant state of "uhhhhhhh."

59. This'll be nice. Didn't think too much about how it'd be if it was the President.
