So wake #2 took place last night and will SOON be up @ twentyfour.podomatic.com (or press that orange PODOMATIC button on the right). Turn out was pretty decent (seven or so people) but the downloads from last week are more promising (over 500).
This week focused on the EPIC Morning Sedition Radio Theater production of "The Shadow Government." Played out in 15 parts, we got through 12 or 13 of them before Robot Rock kicked me out. Of course it'll be concluded next week.
Watching and reading a lot of the news from this weekend has frustrated and angered me beyond... well, just BEYOND. I tried to get away from it by watching Season 5 of Angel but just ended up FURIOUS and PUFFY-EYED from watching the demise of Fred and the rise of Illyria. All in all, going over the season has made me pissed at Joss Whedon and everyone involved in the show. The ending of the show, with Angel and other superheroes continuing the fight into eternity, is so alienating, depressing, and infuriating. Compare finales of Buffy and Angel. Hmmm... Different? Yep.
And I'm tired and for some reason can't type anymore. Can't continue the thought.
