Not because of that. But because of smoking. I'm much more likely, as a smoker, to go blind by AMD (macular-degeneration) than a non-smoker. Or a "I quit buying"-smoker.
Soledad O'Brian's perky face and voice are not good wake-up calls. She's like a camp counselor who wakes everyone up by loudly singing "WAKEY WAKEY EGGS AND BAKEY!!!!" over and over again only to lead you to a cold cabin where they serve you instant eggs in the form of a pan and cheerios.
